Universal Mount
The Universal Mount is an excellent option for installing the Tempest device on a variety of structures and vertical surfaces.
Two mast configurations are possible. Attaching the short end of the pole in the bracket will maximize installation height while attaching the long end in the bracket instead will provide greater distance from the mounting surface.

About the Power Booster: The easy-to-install Power Booster Accessory is made for the Tempest sensor device in locations where there is not enough sunlight to keep it running year-round.
Do I need a Power Booster? The Tempest is designed to operate on solar power and the vast majority of Tempest owners do NOT need a power booster.

Bird Deterrent Accessory
Recommended only if your Tempest sensor device is frequently visited by perching birds. Only a small percentage of owners might need to mitigate a perching bird. A bird deterrent is only recommended if you are absolutely certain the installation is consistently and frequently visited by perching birds.
Easily attaches to the head of a Tempest or SKY sensor device.
Helps to deter most birds from perching on the device which could cause false rain readings or fouling.

NOTE: The Tempest Weather System includes a pole mount attachment.
The pole mount attaches to the base of a Tempest or legacy SKY device. Compatible with 1.25 in (32 mm) OD pole as well as 1.315 in (33.4 mm) OD pole, and anything in between.
Built-in, removable level to help ensure proper mounting of your outdoor sensor device.

Crafted in partnership with Kids Making Sense, your children can use data from the Tempest and the WEATHERmeter to play weather bingo, see how buildings can affect wind speed, track changes in temperature in shade vs sun, and more! 12 cards total, featuring 8 activities (Instruction card and Bingo activity card shown). Cards measure 5.5 x 8.5.
